Jean is a Senior Advisor for ExCel Global Family Office and an integral part of ExCel's global family office service offering. For over 40 years, Jean has worked as an attorney and an international tax expert on behalf of multi-national companies and family offices throughout Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Jean began his career as an intellectual property attorney in Belgium. His practice extended to France, Switzerland, and Dubai (UAE), where Jean specifically managed the business affairs for Europair and CFI in Dubai.

In 1987, Jean immigrated to the United States to become the exclusive licensing agent for various client businesses located throughout Europe and the Middle East. Jean focused his business talents on the entertainment, music and consumer products industries, where he served as CEO, CFO and Manager of various companies, including Original Sound and Nu Tech, LLC. For the past 5 years Jean has been working with behavioral healthcare entrepreneurs and businesses.

In addition, Jean has worked on the creation of a highly specialized curriculum for the next generation of family wealth entitled “Seeds of Seeds,” which has become the foundation for ExCel's Next Generation Program.

Jean received a Bachelor Degree in Law from Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium and an Accounting Degree from Chambre Belge des Comptables, Belgium. He speaks multiple languages, including French and Italian.

Jean volunteers his time as the President of The Behavioral Healthcare Community Endowment Fund (BHCEF) and a volunteer for the Red Cross.
